TervexaTervexa

Cloud migration for small businesses

The server under the desk is the whole company. Backups are a USB drive someone remembers on Fridays. Tervexa moves the application and its database to cloud hosting with a written cutover, real backups, and monitoring.

Talk through this build

Inventory before anyone buys a bigger instance

What is the app, where is the database, who logs in, and what breaks if it is down for an hour? That list decides the move. A generic “lift to AWS” does not.

A cutover with a clock on it

We name the downtime window, take a tested backup, move the data, point DNS or the app at the new host, and keep the old server powered until the new one has survived a business day.

After the move

SSL, firewall rules, backups you can restore, and an alert when disk or the process dies. Cloud bills get a first-month review so a forgotten volume is not a surprise.

FAQs

Can you move a server we do not fully understand?
Often yes, if it still boots and we can see the services. If the only copy of the data is a failing disk, the first job is a backup, not a migration.
Do we have to go to AWS?
No. We host where the workload fits, including a straightforward cloud VM. The requirement is recovery and access control, not a specific logo.
